I have never considered an interior designer. I always thought they would be too expensive. I met Lina at a party and we chatted before she visited me a few days later. I bought my dilapidated house in 2002. I was determined not to clutter the house by buying things for the sake of it; I only wanted furniture and objects that reflected my personality and style. Enter, Lina Lipizzi! I had never employed an Interior Designer before, after all, how can a total stranger understand my style, and my needs? When I met Lina, I instantly warmed to her friendly Italian manner. She instinctively knew where I was coming from and she inspired confidence in her abilities. We walked through the house room by room, she made simple suggestions, relatively inexpensive alterations that would give each room a focus, depth, warmth and literally pull the room into a cohesive whole - Each a masterpiece in it's own right !

I now have a large silver striped wall - paper on one side of the stairs, another metallic wallpaper on the chimney- breast, a gorgeous rug in my lounge. Beautiful neutral blinds in the bedrooms, handmade large satin bed headboards, each a different style. I have unusual lighting, gorgeous mirrors and fabulous cushions and stylish workspaces. Even my front garden feels much larger in an easy to maintain chic. Generally, the feel of the house is larger, brighter and luxurious - Yet, it's still in my taste and totally reflects me. I've had so many compliments from my clients who come to the house, which fills me with pride. I now have a new phrase, I tell them that, 'I've been Lina'd!' Lina, thank you for everything.
